Health Data Research UK is today announcing it will launch a competition on 7 May 2019 to establish Digital Innovation Hubs across the UK.  This is part of a £37.5M UK government investment in using health data responsibly and safely to accelerate scientific research and digital innovation to improve health and people’s lives.

The Digital Innovation Hub Programme is funded by UK Research and Innovation’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF). Led by Health Data Research UK, the national institute for health data research, the Programme will deliver a world-leading data infrastructure and UK-wide approach to secure data services for research and innovation.  This will provide the potential to use data to enable discoveries that will transform knowledge of disease, drive improvements in diagnosis and improve patient care.

Full details about the competition will be posted on Health Data Research UK’s website on 7 May 2019.
