I am an epidemiologist specialised in paediatric infectious diseases, in particular HIV, viral hepatitis, TB and most recently COVID-19. I am based at the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at University College London.
My research focus is on the use of observational data of children in routine clinical care to generate real world evidence to inform clinical care, policies and future research. My work is international in focus, having worked for a number of years in my native Thailand, and am currently working with partners across Europe, Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. I have an MSc in Development Studies (School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London) and an MSc in Public Health in Developing Countries (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, LSHTM), and a PhD in Epidemiology & Health Economics (LSHTM).
I am a member of HDR UK’s Impact Committee which meets monthly to select the most impactful outputs from across the HDR UK community.
