During Elliot’s undergraduate studies in biomedical sciences, his interest was drawn to public health – quickly realising the profound and wide-ranging value of harnessing health data for research and impact. This led Elliot to complete a Master of Public Health, where he excelled in medical statistics and epidemiology. He has managed and contributed to research across multiple disciplines, including global health, observational studies, qualitative research and pharmacoepidemiology. Alongside his role at the UK Cystic Fibrosis Registry, Elliot holds a voluntary position at an international healthcare charity, Share Uganda, where he supports their data-driven programs and monitoring and evaluation processes.
