Dr Spiros Denaxas is an Associate Professor in Biomedical Informatics based at the Institute of Health Informatics. His lab’s research (http://denaxaslab.org) focuses on creating and evaluating novel computational methods for risk prediction, data modelling, phenotyping and disease subtype discovery in structured electronic health records, clinical and omics data. He leads the CALIBER resource, a translational research platform of tools and phenotypes for linked electronic health records from primary care, hospital care and national mortality registries.
