Dr Richard Turkington’s research focus is on the Upper GI Translational Research group studies biomarkers and drug resistance mechanisms in cancers of the oesophagus, stomach and pancreas.
Richard’s group incorporates a comprehensive research programme of research laboratory, tissue and plasma biobanking and a clinical trials in order to translate scientific discoveries into clinical practice.
