Dr Guy Tsafnat
Guy has over 20 years experience in research on artificial intelligence (specifically machine learning and natural language processing), digital health and clinical decision making. Guy’s research experience spans both academia, as a senior research fellow, and industry in Silicon Valley, Israel and Australia in a variety of roles from software developer, technical product manager, chief investigator and executive. He specializes in the intersection of AI and clinical decision support that spans both academia and industry.
Guy is the inventor of the Piano research automation platform that grew out of his own internationally-funded research lab, culminating in the launch of Evidentli Pty Ltd in 2018, of which Guy is Founder and CSO. Guy has authored over 100 peer-reviewed academic papers, book chapters, conference abstracts and other scholarly works and two international patents. Guy is an Associate Editor of two of the most important Digital Health journals: Elsevier's Journal of Biomedical Informatics, and the Journal of Medical Internet Research (JMIR).
