Become a health data scientist
Health data science is a rapidly emerging sector offering rewarding careers at the forefront of medical and healthcare research.
HDR UK is committed to ensuring that health data scientists have the education and training they need for a flourishing future – and is equipping the next generation for the exciting challenges ahead.
That means offering them the chance to develop the right balance of skills across statistical, computational and health sciences.
We offer MSc and PhD programmes and fellowships. There is also an annual summer school bringing together doctoral students, early and mid-career researchers and specialists from all areas of health data science.
In early 2021 HDR UK will unveil the first of a wide-ranging series of continued professional development (CPD) courses. The first of these will give existing health data scientists, and those wanting to move into the field, the knowledge they need to deal with critical issues like safe data management.
The Health Data Research Innovation Gateway also lets you find out about university courses relevant to health data scientists in every part of the country.
