Zainab holds an MSc in data science from Manchester Metropolitan University and a BSc in economics from Lagos State University. With a background in data analysis, automation, and healthcare research, she is passionate about applying data-driven insights to improve patient outcomes and healthcare systems.
Selected through the 10,000 Black Interns programme, Zainab says she is honoured to intern with East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust under HDR UK. She looks forward to contributing meaningfully to healthcare data initiatives while deepening her understanding of how data science can drive innovation in public health.
Zainab’s professional interests span predictive analytics, process optimisation, and healthcare research. During this internship, she hopes to refine her technical and research skills, collaborate with leading experts, and play a small part in making healthcare more efficient, inclusive, and effective for all.
