Professor Teo is the Dean of the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health at the National University of Singapore. He is also Vice President (Global Health), overseeing the University’s Office of Global Health. Prior to his Deanship, he was the Founding Director of the School’s Centre for Health Services and Policy Research (CHSPR). and served as the Director of the former Centre for Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Research (CIDER) in Singapore from 2015 to 2017.

He is currently a governing board member of the Regional Centre for Tropical Medicine and Public Health Network for Southeast Asia.
