Dr Weiyi Wang is a Research Associate at the School of Public Health at Imperial College London. Her research combines statistical modelling, geographical information systems (GIS), and large-scale health datasets to investigate how environmental exposures shape population health. Within the HDR UK Social and Environmental Determinants of Health Driver Programme, Weiyi’s work focuses on the impacts of high ambient temperature on dementia-related hospital admissions and mental health service use in England.
Weiyi’s research interests include health inequalities, GIS and spatial analysis in health research, and epidemiological studies using linked spatio-temporal environmental and health data.
