Vesna Vuksanovic is Senior Lecturer in Imaging at Swansea University Medical School Health Data Research UK (HDR-UK) Wales & Northern Ireland. Vesna has experience in neuroimaging and computational modelling of multimodal brain imaging data. Vasna is a physicist by background and uses a broad range of analysis and modelling techniques, particularly coming from physics of complex systems and non-linear dynamics, graph theory (network science) and time-series analysis and apply them to neuroimaging data.

Vesna is interested in brain network organisations in health and neurodegenerative disorders. Understanding the brain as a network of interconnected elements at different levels of its organisation has important implications for clinical and cognitive neuroscience and for therapeutic approaches to brain disorders.
