I spent the last 10 years working in neuroscience and oncology clinical trial operations and now I am an aspiring health data scientist. I have a degree in neuroscience and currently doing my PhD in precision medicine, where I am using routinely collected hospital data to investigate delirium. From this internship, I hope to gain a better understanding of applied health data science and how it is used within the NHS to support AI/ML projects that contribute to precision medicine within NHS Scotland.
