Tejiri is the Training Team Administrator for the HDR UK Black Internship Programme. She was a previous intern of this programme and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience both from an intern and alumni perspective.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in health informatics. She has over two years of experience in analysing electronic health records data. Her journey over the years with health data has equipped her with skills in Microsoft Excel, R, SQL, and Tableau. She has also gained hands-on research skills in critical appraisal of the literature, qualitative research, and research dissemination, including conference abstract publication and presentation.

Tejiri is excited to be part of the team because she strongly believes that this programme will continually equip and transform the lives of black talents in STEM across the UK.
