I have always had an affinity to improving the quality and longevity of lives. I thought this could only be achieved in the lab or hospital, however discovering health data science has completely disrupted that archaic mental model. I am excited to be involved in such a dynamic and emerging field.
I have a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Manchester, as well as an MSc degree (Distinction) in the Molecular Biology & Pathology of Viruses from Imperial College London. Both ended with a Bioinformatics project, arming me with computational and analytical skills that I look forward to utilising and developing at Genomics England!
