I am happy to have secured the Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) internship; I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Bioinformatics at Teesside University. Following my master’s program, I plan to pursue a PhD in bioinformatics, specifically in genomics. I believe this internship will provide an excellent opportunity to apply my R, python and machine learning skills to the project I will be involved in at my host university, the University of Southampton. I look forward to learning and networking with renowned researchers and data scientists at HDR UK and my host university.
