Roger has a research informatics background and brings experience of building research Phenotype data sets from clinical and laboratory data. At the University of Cambridge working on the 100K project for Genomics England he helped define the extended Phenotypes profiles for the different Rare Diseases. By developing Phenotips for data capture he streamlined work in the clinic, integrated EHR data and supported researchers & participants. Working closely with patient/participant groups in research he provides expertise in; delivering & integrating systems, engaging with research, championing the use of data from research studies and addressing ethical & technical challenges.
