Rachel joined Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) in January 2024 as Senior Technical Programme Manager. She is overseeing the delivery of the Researcher Passports programme of work, HDR UK’s latest Passports and accreditation verification project. Prior to joining HDR UK, Rachel has overseen the delivery of projects and programmes focused on health data analytics and digital transformation on a regional and national scale, alongside partnering with international health providers and industry. Rachel comes to us from Thalamos where she was responsible for the design and delivery of digital transformation programmes, implementing bespoke software with NHS, Local Authority, and Private Healthcare partners to improve patient outcomes in acute mental healthcare.
Rachel studied Pharmacology at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner. Passionate about ending stigma around mental health, she co-chaired a Mental Health Working Group at the Health Foundation, focused on improving mental health inclusivity; and is a Mental Health First Aider.
