Rachael joined HDR UK as a Patient and Public Involvement Officer in October 2023. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Rachael brings with her years of experience from working in various general and mental healthcare settings.
She was previously part of the Health Data Science Black Internship Programme where she discovered her passion for patient and public involvement in research to improve health outcomes for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her current goal is to engage patients and the public, especially those from underserved communities, in health data research to ensure it includes and benefits everyone regardless of backgrounds.
