Professor Roger Woods is Research Director for the Electronics and Computer Engineering Cluster in the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His research interests includes computing systems archiectures particularly those involving Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology, innovative telecommunications hardware platforms and acceleration of Big Data analytics.
