My name is Princess Obayori, I am a recent graduate of Biotechnology (BSc) from the University of Nottingham.

I have been increasingly fascinated by the way data shapes patient outcomes and the progression of research. I was first introduced to the world of health data when I attended the UK Biobank conference, here I learnt about the significance of large-scale biological data to provide relevant insight to various genetic linked diseases for prospective treatment and health outcomes.

This internship is an amazing way to harness my data skills and be enriched by experienced and like-minded professionals. I am particularly interested in how genomic data can help inform the cause of inequality in health outcomes of minority ethnic communities.
