Coming from a medical background, the HDR UK Black Internship Programme helped Precious-Gift realise how much we can improve healthcare for all and reduce inequalities by maximising health data. More importantly, it gave her a community of like-minded professionals she is incredibly proud to be a part of, so she is keen to contribute to this community. As a member of the HDR UK Alumni Network Advisory Group, Precious-Gift believes our lived experiences, professional backgrounds and shared commitment uniquely position us to ensure health data research reflects and benefits all, while also empowering the next generation of health data professionals.
