Prabhu has recently started at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as Clinical Lead and previously was Director of Clinical Data Imaging at Genomics England having joined the organisation in 2019. He led the multimodal programme, focusing on the utility of linking cancer whole genome sequences to digital pathology and radiology imaging and was Genomics England’s Caldicott Guardian. Prabhu also Chaired the Tech and Data workstream for NHS England’s sub-national Secure Data Environments (SDEs) and has a specialist interest in national cancer data and imaging informatics.
Prabhu studied in medicine at St. Bartholomew’s and the Royal London and after a short period as a surgical trainee, undertook training in Histopathology and completed his PhD at The Barts Cancer Institute on pancreatic pathology.
