Ogechukwu is currently studying data science at the University of East London, building on a background in using data to solve real-world problems. He is interested in how data can improve people’s lives; especially in healthcare. He is learning to work with tools like Python, R, and machine learning to make sense of complex information. His earlier experience was focused on using data to improve systems and processes, but he’s now excited to apply these new skills to health research. Ogechukwu is particularly interested in how data can help make healthcare more efficient, more equitable, and more informed by evidence. Joining the Health Data Science Black Internship Programme is a great opportunity for him to grow, work on meaningful projects, and learn from others who care deeply about making a difference through data.
