Nasir is a medical doctor with over four years of clinical experience. His passion for applying digital technology to healthcare drove his adventures into software development and data analytics. He completed an all-encompassing software engineering program at the ALX Holberton School in 2023, followed by a master’s degree in health data science at the University of St Andrews in 2025. His broad interests include health data infrastructure, AI applications in healthcare, and electronic patient records.
Nasir is interning with the Bennett Institute for Applied Data Science at the University of Oxford this summer, where he will develop an automated pipeline to detect seasonalities in OpenPrescribing data.
