Keith Smith’s work currently focuses on developing mathematical tools to illuminate hidden interdependencies of biomedical data, aiming to help to understand disease processes and enhance classification strategies. This includes work on inter-regional connections in the human brain, protein interactions, and the exploitation of inter-subject data correlations. He has a PhD in biomedical signal processing with an undergraduate background in mathematics.
