Michael is a neurosurgical trainee and an epidemiologist in Edinburgh. He is currently undertaking a CRUK clinical PhD fellowship to study determinants of survival in patients with brain tumours. His research interest is in the integration of clinical, radiological, and molecular data to perform patient-orientated research. He works closely with the HDR UK community to apply novel approach to big data. Michael is a medical graduate from Edinburgh with a BMedSci (Hons) in neurosciences and MSc in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
