Matthew Lilliman is the Programme Manager for the HDR UK Social and Environmental Determinants of Health Driver programme. Matthew is responsible for the effective co-ordination of research to produce impactful outputs and national infrastructure for geocoded health research data.

Based at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health, Matthew has managed several of its largest health database research studies. This includes the NIHR HOPE Programme, the NIHR Children and Families Policy Research Unit Programme, the Kids’ Environment and Health Cohort, the PICNIC study, and several ECHILD database projects, including establishing ECHILD. As Data Resource Manager for the Child Health Informatics Group, Matthew’s responsibilities also underpin the groups safe access to de-identified, population-based data resources.
