Mary Yip is a technologist working in systems development management in health data for one of the members the UK Health Data Alliance – the UK Cystic Fibrosis Registry. She is involved in metadata onboarding into the Innovation Gateway, she is part of HDR UK’s Digital Research Technologist group and mentored by a member in BREATHE – the Health Data Research Hub for Respiratory Health.
Mary works on the technical development of the UK Cystic Fibrosis Registry software, ensuring that changes to the system are targeted at improving the quality of Registry data. She also advises on technical requirements and limitations of the Registry. Prior to joining CF, Mary worked in the private sector, at Bioclinica, as a Clinical Data Manager, and on various technical aspects of managing trials data at the Institute of Cancer Research and the UCL Comprehensive Clinical Trials Unit.
