Hi, I’m Makanaka, a second-year Physics with Medical Physics student at UCL. Through my core physics modules, I’ve been exposed to the modelling of both physical and biological systems, an area I’m particularly passionate about.

I also work on the computational modelling of cancer at UCL, a project that has further deepened my interest in this field. I’m excited to expand my skill set, especially by gaining experience in implementing Machine Learning at the Rosalind Franklin Institute in the Artificial Intelligence team. Career-wise, I have varied interests as an aspiring physicist, including surgical robotics, quantum computing, and piloting.
