Lysette Moses
Master's student at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM)
This year, I am excited to start my MSc in Health Data Science at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. It has been 14 years since I completed my undergraduate degree in natural sciences at Cambridge University and during that time, I have been working as an Exposure and Management Information Analyst in the Insurance Sector.
However, I was craving a new challenge and some of my own experiences have led me to become passionate about transforming the delivery of Healthcare for future generations (especially as I have two young children myself). I believe this MSc will equip me with the skills and knowledge I need to begin a new and rewarding career in this area. I am incredibly grateful for the support from HDR and Asthma + Lung UK and look forward to carrying out a project with a focus on Asthma.
I will be studying on a part time basis over two years so I can also enjoy spending more time with my family and hopefully resume some of my hobbies (such as aerial hoop) which have taken a backseat since having my children.
