Laura joined Health Data Research UK as an Early Career Health Data Scientist based at the BHF Data Science Centre in March 2025.
Prior to joining the BHF Data Science Centre, Laura undertook a PhD at the University of Edinburgh, where she leveraged data from clinical trials and electronic medical records to better understand vascular contributors to cognitive impairment and dementia.
Laura has a background in clinical research, previously working as a research assistant and clinical trial coordinator in Edinburgh and Cambridge.
