I am a Genetic Epidemiology PhD researcher at the University of Leicester, currently focussing on utilising electronic health record data to perform observational pharmacogenomic studies. I hope to apply the knowledge gained from my academic experiences so far to make a unique and positive contribution programme, and further develop her data science skills while collaborating with an institution currently leading health data research in the UK. Being part of this programme will also bring me closer to fulfilling my ambitions of improving ethnic diversity in genomics research studies and inspiring future generations of Black health data scientists.
