Judy Slape joined HDR UK as Public Engagement and Involvement Officer in December 2020 to support the delivery of patient, public and practictioner engagement and involvement activities on the Data and Connectivity National Core Study. The programme aims to bring together key datasets to enable research to inform policy and decision making on COVID-19.
Following Judy’s Masters of Public Health at University of Melbourne, Judy worked on the Australian National Cancer Screening Programs developing, implementing and evaluating cancer screening and HPV immunisation initatives targeting priority population groups. Judy relocated to London in 2019 to take up a role at Cancer Research UK on the patient involvement network, working to build the network with a strong focus on diversity.
