I am a registered clinical scientist in genetics, and I specialise in developing new genetic tests for cancer. I currently work at St Mary’s Hospital in Manchester and previously completed my NHS training at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. I have been coding in R for 5 years, and it has completely transformed the way I work. My key interest is in using open-source coding for greater transparency, reproducibility, and scalability in laboratory test development.
