Jan is a doctoral candidate at the LMU Munich and the Munich Center for Machine Learning as well as a trainer at the Digital Research Academy. He has been working as a developer and researcher for multiple years across both industry and academia and is regularly teaching courses on topics involving research software engineering. He holds a degree in Psychology with a specialisation in Behavioural Data Science and is formally trained as a specialised computer scientist in application development.
