I am a renal pharmacist at the Oxford Kidney Unit with a keen interest in leveraging routinely collected health data to generate robust real-world evidence in kidney research. Additionally, I am an active member of the UK Kidney Association (UKKA) and the UK Renal Pharmacy Group (UKRPG) Research and Development Subgroup.

My experience in publishing a single-centre prospective observational analysis with direct oral anticoagulant use in dialysis patient, along with further work involving multicentre collaboration, has deepened my appreciation for the powerful impact of data science in clinical research.

In October 2023, I commenced the MRes in Health Sciences Research with Bristol Renal Group at the University of Bristol. My research project explores the management and drug prescribing patterns for chronic kidney disease in primary care, using large datasets from the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD).

I am incredibly grateful to receive the scholarship jointly awarded by Health Data Research UK and Kidney Research UK, allowing me to continue my part-time MRes studies, advance my knowledge and skills in data science, and contribute to the rapidly evolving field of kidney research.
