Helen Tatlow joined Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) in October 2022 as Project Officer for Data and Connectivity at HDR UK. She is also the Training Lead for the Big Data for Common Complex Diseases Driver Programme.

She formerly worked at the University of Oxford managing the data systems for a project tracking government policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, and developing partnerships with policymakers and stakeholders using the data. During the pandemic she also worked as a consultant researcher for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). Helen holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Oxford.
