Giselle Kerry joined the Health Data Research UK Technology Team in June 2025. Previously she worked as a Programme Manager for Human Genomics and Translational Data at the ELIXIR Hub, the European infrastructure for bioinformatics and life-science data, based in Hinxton, UK. Prior to joining ELIXIR, she was help desk lead and project coordinator at the European Genome-Phenome Archive (EGA). In this role, Giselle was responsible for the Central EGA helpdesk team and project coordination, including the first steps of the Federated EGA. Prior to this she was Data Access and Regulatory support officer at the Wellcome Sanger Institute where she designed their data access mechanism eDAM and was responsible for managing all of their human ‘omic datasets. Giselle is very passionate about facilitating data discoverability, access, sharing and data analysis.
