My name is Fehintolu, and I am a 4th-year medical student with an intercalated MSc in Neuroscience and Translational Medicine.
Throughout my university experience, I’ve worked part-time as a student editor and a healthcare assistant. I took a further year out to work as an Assistant Account Executive at a medical communications agency. Through my upcoming internship with NHS England & Health Data Research UK, I truly look forward to learning more about the NHS as a national healthcare system, and how we can strive towards improved health outcomes through collaboration between researchers, clinicians, businesses, and patients.
My key areas of interest are improving public health outcomes for children and their families, and addressing health inequalities for minorities in the UK. I believe that this internship will be a great opportunity for me to get involved in healthcare from another angle, and develop my research and analytical skills.
