Fatemeh Torabi is a Research Officer and Data Analyst at Swansea University, Health Data Research UK Wales & Northern Ireland and a Fellow of Royal Society of Statistics. Her background is in mathematical statistics and health data science.

Before Joining HDR UK, she went on to advance various projects at the Prudent Healthcare Intelligence Hub, as part of the Farr Institute. Her research interests span novel analytical and computational methods for statistical inference in panel data and population health. Currently, her focus is on using large scale health data as part of Cardiac Research programme, and to analyse prescription patterns of anticoagulant drugs and their effects.

Fatemeh is an HDR UK Futures tutor and sits on the HDR UK’s Impact Committee.
