Fatemeh Torabi
Assistant Professor in Healthcare Data Science at University of Cambridge
Fatemeh is an Assistant Professor in Healthcare Data Science at Cambridge University and a Senior Data Scientist at DPUK Swansea University. She is collaborating closely with Health Data Research UK Wales & Northern Ireland. With a background in mathematical statistics and health data science, Fatemeh previously served as a Research Officer and Data Scientist at HDR UK, leading on development of cardiovascular research projects as well as contributing to the infrastructure advisory board and the Impact Committee at HDR UK. Prior to joining HDR UK, she played a pivotal role at the Prudent Healthcare Intelligence Hub within the Farr Institute.
Her research interests encompass innovative analytical and computational methods for statistical inference in panel data and population health. Currently, she directs her focus to the advancement of federated analytics, leading the joint partnership between Swansea/Oxford led Dementia Platform UK and Alzheimer’s Disease Data Initiative.
Fatemeh is actively engaged as an HDR UK Futures tutor.
