Falinyi has a master’s in public health from the University of Aberdeen. Her journey into health data science began during her time as a medical laboratory scientist in Nigeria, but it truly clicked when she took a health data science course during my MPH. That class illustrated how data could transform healthcare in ways I had never imagined!

Since then, Falinyi had the opportunity to create a podcast with the Aberdeen Maternity Database (showing how data literally saves lives), and has enjoyed using R Studio to uncover patterns in public health data.

Sh is excited to join the Bristol team this summer to work on COVID-19 research. Falinyi loves finding ways to bridge the gap between complex health data and real-world impact.

You’ll find me cooking, hiking, and exploring Scotland and the UK when I’m not geeking out over datasets!
