Evans is a masters graduate in public health, a professional nurse and an alumnus of the first HDR UK Black Internship Programme. He is passionate about using research and health data science to inform clinical practice and improve the quality of healthcare.

Outside of his professional career, Evans is a keen advocate for diversity and inclusion, particularly the involvement of the youth in governance, management and decision-making.

Evans is a recipient of a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship and a member of the Royal Society of Public Health. He recently joined the University of Nottingham’s Digital Research Service (DRS) Team as a Research Associate.
