I am a third-year psychology student, at the university of Liverpool.
I attended The Catholic High School, Chester and was the first black pupil to be appointed as Deputy Head Boy by the school. I undertake volunteering work with various organisations, including Scope UK, and he was awarded volunteer of the month in 2019 by Scope UK. I am also a ‘young carer’, and help to look after a teenage boy with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. I am currently working on my research project which explores the relationship between musical aptitude, musical experience/exposure and hallucination proneness; and have an aspiration to become a neuro psychologist.
I hope to improve my knowledge and skills in data analysis and research during my internship through HDR UK. I also hope to develop a network of friends and mentors during this internship.
