Elsie holds a BSc (Hons) in biomedical science and is currently pursuing a master’s in public health at the University of Warwick. With a strong academic foundation in life sciences and growing experience in public health, she has become increasingly interested in how data can be leveraged to address complex health challenges and improve population outcomes.

Elsie is particularly keen to explore how data science can help tackle health inequalities and inform more equitable health policies and interventions. She is also interested in ethical data practices, especially in relation to the use of AI and digital technologies in healthcare.

During her studies and previous work experience, Elsie developed a solid foundation in SPSS, and now aims to build her skills further in both Python and R for data analysis, modelling and visualisation. Through the internship she hopes to deepen her technical abilities and contribute meaningfully to impactful, data-driven health research.
