Eóghan Forde began his role at Health Data Research UK in June 2024 as a Senior Technical Programme Manager for the Brain Health team. In this capacity, Eóghan collaborates on initiatives focused on data sharing, federation, and common data models (CDM) including the OMOP CDM. Eóghan is currently involved in technical aspects of neuro-degeneration programmes, including the Alzheimer’s Disease Data Initiative Data Pilots, NEURii, TBI Reporter, MND Data Catalyst, and the Dementia Trials Accelerator. His role bridges cutting-edge research with practical solutions, driving impactful improvements in brain health research and outcomes.
Eóghan holds a PhD in Precision Medicine from the Usher Institute, at The University of Edinburgh, with integrated studies at The University of Glasgow. He has a background in Biomedical and Clinical Sciences, complemented by experience in genomics, data standardisation, and research within trusted research environments, having previously served as a Technical Project Manager at Aridhia Informatics.
