Connor is a Research Associate within the Epidemiology and Biostatistics group at Imperial College London. His expertise lie in developing spatio-temporal models to investigate the impacts of environmental and policy-related factors on health and mental health outcomes. Connor’s current research focuses on understanding the effects of extreme climate events on mental health. Whilst at Imperial, he has worked on evaluating the impact of the London Clean Air Zone on physical health and has developed novel methodological approaches to assess the effects of government policies (such as benefit and credit reforms) on mental health outcomes. Prior to joining Imperial, Connor completed his PhD at the University of Bath, publishing his thesis, titled “Modelling of Spatio-temporal Disease Rates Using Age–Period–Cohort Models.”
