Caroline joined Health Data Research UK as a Strategy Advisor in February 2023. She works alongside the Institute Director and Directory of Strategy to support the alignment of strategic development opportunities. Prior to joining Health Data Research UK, Caroline briefly worked as an Associate Editor with the Public Library of Science (PLOS) and before that, held a Senior Research Associate post split between Translational Health Sciences and the Medical Research Council Integrative Epidemiology Unit (MRC IEU) at the University of Bristol.

Caroline obtained her PhD in Molecular, Genetic and Lifecourse Epidemiology from the University of Bristol in 2017 and holds a BSc in Human Physiology from the University of Leeds. Caroline brings her experiences of research participation and health data analysis as a participant of the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC), and as a researcher trained in interdisciplinary science, respectively.
