Dominic is a medical doctor currently completing a master’s in health data analytics and machine learning at Imperial College London. He graduated with first class honours in medical sciences from Imperial and went on to complete his medical degree with distinction in the final examination at the University of Manchester.
He undertook his foundation training as a foundation teaching fellow in the East of England Deanery and subsequently completed two years of core medical training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, where he passed his MRCP examinations at the first attempt. During his time at Addenbrooke’s, he developed a strong interest in renal medicine, inspired by the expertise and enthusiasm of his consultant colleagues.
Dominic is extremely grateful to Health Data Research UK and Kidney Research UK for supporting his master’s studies. His current research interests focus on the application of machine learning methods to improve outcomes for patients with kidney and cardiovascular diseases. He intends to pursue a PhD to further develop these interests.
