I am a Health Data Science graduate, currently interning as a grant writer with the Centre for Population Health at Swansea University.

Prior to this, I gained analytic and modelling experience in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from the University of Buea. There, I served as a volunteer tutor for the International Network for Research and Development (INSEARCH), facilitating the use of R amongst other software taught by the program.

My time at Swansea improved my appreciation of epidemiological research, exploring large data sets with longitudinal data techniques and various software within a Trusted Research Environment. I continuously seek to maximise the potential of data science to inform policy through research.

During this internship, I look forward to implementing cutting-edge statistical and machine-learning techniques to improve respiratory disease mechanisms and allergic disorders knowledge. As a fan of classical music, I am quite excited to be based in Belfast, UNESCO City of Music 2021.
