Throughout Daniel’s academic and professional journeys, he has strived to build knowledge that could be used to bridge gaps in healthcare that are especially pronounced in communities such as his. He completed an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, proceeded by work in medical software, and currently, he is studying an MSc in health data science at LSHTM.
Daniel is particularly fascinated by the intersection of medical research and scientific communication – how do we ensure that our findings are effectively communicated to our communities? He is hoping that through the PhD that he will be starting at the University of Bristol, he can practice this and keep endeavouring to make a valuable contribution.
